I spent nearly 8 years as an Editorial Graphic Designer at The West Australian Newspaper. Working for a daily paper meant we didn't always get much planning time, so I learned how to work fast without compromising quality. It was exciting yet stressful, but you'll never get that kind of experience anywhere else. The majority of my time at the paper was spent creating Infographics and these are some of my favourites. I enjoyed working with the Business department because they were always after more engaging content. They understood that the business pages can look a bit dry compared to the passion and excitement of the sport pages. I always strived to make sure that all readers could pick up the paper, flip to any page and understand what they were looking at.
