I've always had an innate interest in bugs from an early age. Just because they're small doesn't mean they deserve any less care and respect than any other animal. And they play such an important role in the world. When I got a DSLR camera I started shooting birds mostly. Then I wanted to get a better look at bugs, so I got a macro lens. With practice and research, I'm now able to shoot things as small as 1mm! Being able to see how things look up-close was absolutely fascinating. The camera becomes a tool for me to explore and understand the world around me. Then I get to share all the amazing things I find with others.
